Improvement on Control of Slicing and Conditioning System

In order to improve the uniformity of moisture content and flow rate of conditioned tobacco lamina, the control of slicing and conditioning system was modified.The flow rate of sliced tobacco was controlled by electronic weighing belt instead of slicing speed;moisture content of conditioned tobacco was regulated automatically according to the variation of moisture content after conditioning.The fluctuation of flow rate of lamina was decreased from ±1500kg to ±200kg and that of moisture content of conditioned tobacco was reduced from ±3% to ±1%.
