Improving Manufacturing Quality of Filter Rods and Cigarettes by Regulating Standard Deviation and Mean Value

The existing evaluation methods depended on the rate of acceptance of the circumference and pressure drop of filter rod and the circumference and weight of individual cigarette can not effectively reflect the fluctuation of manufacturing quality of the products and the running and controlling status of the equipment.A new method based on regulating standard deviation and mean value was developed through statistical comparison and analysis.It was proved that the standard deviation and discrete degree of the circumference and pressure drop of filter rod and the circumference and weight of individual cigarette were reduced, the performance of equipment and quality consciousness of operators were improved by implementation of the new method.
