Energy Saving Scheme with Linking Operation of Air Conditioning & Refrigeration System in Cigarette Factory

Based on the higher air dew point in summer and the periodical demand characteristics of the air conditioning system in cigarette factory, a control scheme of changing the temperature of chilled supply water was proposed. The efficiencies of heat exchange and dehumidification of the surface cooling coils in the air conditioning system could be improved. It was expected that the annual operational cost of the chilling units could be reduced by more than 20%.
