On Relationship between Particle Sizes of Cut Tobacco and Lamina

  • The proportion of >3.2mm and <1.4mm mesh particles in cut tobacco is an important technical parameter for evaluating the performance of primary processing. Each step in the primary processing has different influences, however, the size of lamina has a key contribution to the size distribution of cut tobacco. The relationships between particle sizes of lamina and cut tobacco are discussed. The results show that >12.7mm or ≤ 12.7mm mesh lamina has a significant influence on >3.2mm or ≤ 1.4mm cut tobacco, respectively.
