Determination of Potassium, Chlorine, and Nitrate in Cigarette Paper

Potassium, chlorine and nitrate in cigarette paper were determined by continuous flow analytic method. The recoveries of these components were 97.5%, 90.0% and 92.0%, the coefficients of variance were 2.17%, 5.56% and 1.46%, respectively.The results determined by this method were comparable with those obtained by national standard methods of China.This method was simple, fast and accurate.
