Identification of Counterfeit Cigarettes by SPME-GC-MS Fingerprint Spectrum

Volatile and semi-volatile components of two domestic brand cigarettes and their counterfeits were analy zed by SPME-GC-MS.The characteristic fingerprint spectrums of the cigarettes were established by the selection of twelve and seventeen total ion current peaks of the components according to the difference of their volatile compositions in these cigarettes.The genuine and counterfeit cigarettes were identified by comparison of their fingerprint spectrums.
