Improvement of SPME Sampling Methods for Analyzing Aroma Constituents in Cut Tobacco

Abstract
The aroma constituents in cut tobacco were analyzed by HS-SPME-GC-MS. The 65μ m CW-DVB fiber was used. Three sampling conditions were investigated, 1):1.0 g of cut tobacco, added with 1mL of 3 mol/L KCl solution, headspace sampling 15 minutes with the 65μ m CW-DVB fiber at 95℃;2):1.0 g of cut tobacco, headspace sampling 15 minutes with the fiber at 95℃;and 3):1.0 g of cut tobacco, headspace sampling 15 minutes with the fiber at 95℃, then sampling 15minutes at 25℃. The results showed that condition 3 gave the most sensitive results for all the volatile constituents. The theoretical illustration of the results was also given.
