Experiments on Crinkling Rolling Process Reconstituted Tobacco

Abstract

Abstract

A crinkling method on the base of rolling process reconstituted tobacco added with fiber was experimented. Adhesives, knives, amounts of fiber added, water content, and uniformity of slurry were tested and the crinkling method was established.The filling power of the crinkled tobacco sheet produced by a 90 kg/h production line reached 6.6 cm³/g.
