Nutrients in Soils from the Main Tobacco Planting Zones in Anhui Province and Balanced Fertilization

The contents of nutrients in 832 soil samples collected from main tobacco planting zones in Anhui province were analyzed. The results showed that the average contents of organic matter, hydrolytic N, rapidly available P and K, and Cl-was 13-18g/kg, 95.6mg/kg, 17.4mg/kg, 129.2mg/kg, and 15.8mg/kg respectively, and soil pH values of the southern areas were 4-6. According to the data obtained, fertilization rules of controlling N, regulating P, and adding K for flue-cured tobacco were presented, and the schemes of fertilization for various areas were also worked out.
