Study on the Factors Affecting Cigarette Tar Yields

The factors for influencing the tar deliveries such as blend, moisture, draw resistance, length, circumference, and weight of the cigarettes were analyzed and the relationship of the tar deliveries with the structure of cut tobacco and the draw resistance of filter plug were researched tentatively and established.Some main process parameters for controlling and lowering the tar deliveries of the cigarettes were suggested.
