Effect of Combining Application of Organic and Chemical Fertilizers on the Growth and Development of Flue-cured Tobacco

  • The pot and field experiments were conducted to study the effect of combining application of different organic and chemical fertilizers on the growth and development of flue-cured tobacco. The results showed that as the amount of organic-N fertilizer applied was 25% of total N levels, tobacco plants grew better, the disease resistance was increased, the concentrations of potassium in upper leaves was also improved. Thus, combining application of organic and chemical fertilizers could improve the quality of flue-cured tobacco.
