Abstract

The effect of the amount of nitrogen applied on agronomic characteristics, growth stage, yield, value, average price, proportion of superior leaves, physical quality, nicotine content, N/Nic., and smoking quality of burley tobacco were studied.The results showed that high quality burley tobacco could be obtained when the lev el of nitrogen applied was 12.5~15kg/667m².
