The Effect of High Permeability Plug Wrapper on the Making and Measurement of Filter Plug

The effect of properties of high permeability plug wrapper, tensile strength, elongation percentage, basic weight, permeability etc., on the making of filter plug were studied.(1)When the longitudinal tensile strength is too low, the plug wrapper will fracture easily;When too high, the autom atic cutting and changing paper will be difficult;When the strength fluctuate greatly, the paper will fracture at where the strength is the lowest.When the horizontal tensile streght is too low, the total denier is high, will make the filter plug changing roundness.When the basic weight is too low, the glue will seep when making the filter plug.(2)The permeability of filter plug will increase when the permeability of plug wrapper is increasing, so the error will increase when using non-total encapsulated method to measure the pressure drop and using air-flow type equipment to measure the circumference of filter plug.
