Effect of Crown Ethers on Root System Potassium Transport and Stomatal Opening and Closing of Tobacco

The effect of crow nethers on root system potassium transport and stomatal opening and closing of tobacco was studied.Results indicated that low concentration 5×10^-4 mol·L^-1, crownethers obviously promoted the absorption of tobacco root system to potassium and the opening of tobacco stomate was obviously restricted. However, the mixed solution of 5×10^-4 mol·L^-1 crow nethers and 5×10^-2 mol·L^-1 potassium chloride obviously promoted the opening of stom ate.So crow nethers, may be used for potash absorption efficiency agent and transpirom-resisting agent of drought in tobacco plant.
