Study on Nitrogenous Component Contents of Henan Flue-cured Tobacco

The nitrogenous component contents of 40 grades standard of Henan flue-cured tobacco is determined. The results showed that the total nitrogen was 1.5%~2.5%, the insoluble nitrogen was 0.8%~1.5%, the water soluble nitrogen was 0.6%~1.2%, the total nicotiana alkaloid nitrogen was 0.2%~0.8%, the ammonium nitrogen was 0.02%~0.08%. The relations between the results and different stalk position, colour, grade have been analyzed.
