Effects of Wet and Dry Alternate Treatment on the Germination and Seedling Growth of Tobacco Seed

Germination and seedling grow th of tobacco seed by wetting and drying alternate treatment of different variety and storage time were studied. Results showed that it had significant effect to tobacco seed germinating result. The seed of soaked 60~108 hours can reach 50% germination of the end 3~5 days earlier than check,emergence of seedlings evenly and the quality of seedling were im proved.
