X-ray Fluorescence Spectrum Analysis of TiO₂ in Acetone Dope of Cellulose Diacetate Flake

The TiO₂ in acetone dope of cellulose diacetate flake was determined by energy dispersive Xray fluorescence spectrometry (EDXRF).The EDXRF was compared with combustion method, and the uncertainty of EDXRF was evaluated.The results showed that the RSD of EDXRF was 1.15% with 0.028%of uncertainty and the analyzing time was 100 seconds, the values obtained by EDXRF agreed with those obtained by combustion method.EDXRF was suitable for rapid analysis of TiO₂ in acetone dope of cellulose diacetate flake.
