Improvement of Deflector Fan in FY36 Tobacco Reclaimer

  • Some waste cigarettes were beaten and sliced repeatedly while the others might be intact at the inlet end of FY36 tobacco reclaimer, therefore the deflector fan at the discharge end of working chamber was improved with the simulation technology of working pressure in working chamber. A reversed bird's wing like profile was designed for the deflector fan, which was installed on the main shaft under the inlet end. The three blades of the deflector fan were equally distributed along the main shaft, their installing angle was the same as the helical angle of the rubber-beater. The projections of the said blades on the axial section connected end to end, and the deflection angle was perpendicular to the helical angle. The results of application showed that the improved helical deflector fan solved the problem of waste cigarette staggering movement in the working chamber, the paper chips content in reclaimed tobacco reduced from 20±5 to ≤10 piece/500 g, the integrity rate of cigarette paper tube and the rate of tobacco detached from the paper tube raised from less than 40% to ≥75% and from less than 85% to 98%, respectively.
