Improvement of Elevating Device of Adhesive Pot in FOCKE 701 Hard Packer

  • To eliminate the unbalanced force exerted on the elevating platform of adhesive pot in FOCKE hard packer, the elevating device of adhesive pot was modified. Contra-parallelogram mechanism was used to drive dual elbow-lever and move the adhesive pot up and down at its working position,the mechanism was self-locked and the movement of adhesive pot was prevented when the counter lever approached collineation position. The results of application showed that the improved elevating device of the adhesive pot was completely manually operated,which ensured the stability of adhesive pot elevating platform. The only operation needed was gently pulling and turning the hand lever to install/remove adhesive pot,it reduced maintenance time. The maximum input force for elevating the platform decreased by 15%, the labor intensity of operator was also effectively reduced, while the machine efficiency was increased.
