Research and Application of Batch Management Pattern of Flexible Tobacco Primary Processing Line

To make processing procedure arrangement easily in accordance with product characteristics, and by way of "unitization" and "modularization" of each process step in tobacco primary processing line to extend its adaptability to new products, an ISA-SP95-based flexible batch management pattern in primary processing line was proposed and a batch management model was developed. The function of batch dispatching was implemented by integrating MES (manufacturing execution system) with the centralized control system of primary processing,and the accurate and intelligent batch production control was achieved via batch control software. The proposed flexible batch management pattern was applied in the technical upgrading project of "prime product manufacturing line" of Longyan Cigarette Factory,which realized the overall integration and incorporation of production management and process control, fulfilled the requirements of grouping processing and accurate control of flexible primary processing, and offered a better solution to the problems in production resource adjustment and adaptability to new product development associated with the former system.
