Application of Digital Image Analysis in Determination of Strip Structure

A new method for determining strip structure with digital image analysis was discussed. The results showed that:1)digital image analysis method could be used to determine strip structure;the test precision of the method ranged from 1.31 to 31.91 mm²,which depended on strip area;2)The relative error of the method was less than 1% when strip area was larger than 817.95 mm²;while which was less than 4% when the area was smaller than 361.00 mm²;3)The amount of sample should be no less than 1500 g.
