Structure Design and Application of Rapid Cage Type Tobacco Leaf Clamp

  • As a solution to the shortcomings of current tobacco leaf clamping device, a rapid cage type tobacco leaf clamp was designed. The results showed that after adopting the cage type clamp, the loading capacity of a bulk curing barn increased by more than 50% comparing with the traditional method of manually bundling; the air pressure, velocity and temperature were more equally distributed at the same loading layer; 41.78 labors were saved for curing tobacco produced from one ha,and the appearance quality of cured tobacco leaves was markedly improved.
